Opal birthstone for October: Serbian Green Opal was discovered in 1992, in Kosovo in Serbia at the border to Macedonia while conveying zinc. The mining was stopped in 1995 and could be resumed only after 2000.

Material: Serbian Green Opal the color ranges from tender spring green, through bright apple green to an earthy color, 4mm opaque faceted opal gemstones, old trade beads, and chocolate leather.

Size: 6 - 9 inches in length, 0.5" width, sliding bead, and adjustable leather tie closure.
